Beyond delivering legislation that better protects the civil rights of Virginians and millions of other Americans, Robert will measurably improve our country.
Federal individual income tax rate by 2032. No filing either. Not all “taxation is theft,” but you should keep what you earn, not the IRS. That means everything: tips, Social Security, and organic produce sold at farmer’s markets. Most investments too: markets, metals, crypto. Separate from the budget (same or less), Robert will press Congress to stop taxing you and property.
Robert’s Congressional income donated to charities serving our District. Until he stops the IRS from taking individual filings and taxes, he’ll give back what he can: his salary (minus his share of its taxes, of course).
Overseas military brought back home by 2032. This keeps more families together, saves lives and better secures our nation. Robert will press to modernize our military, shift operating costs to research, and harden America’s infrastructure (energy source and distribution, telecommunications, transportation, and agriculture).
Robert’s approval rating goal for his first term in office, on par with the best. Congress’ approval rating is around 10%, worse than nearly every other professional entity worldwide. Worse still is Congressional Democrats’ 3% approval rating.

Affordability. Healthcare. Social Security. Defense. Immigration. Energy. Education.
On five continents, Robert solved tough challenges. He formed agreements and built trust across diverse cultures and opposing interests. In Congress, Robert will do for you what he’s done for local, state, and national governments, inter-governmental bodies, and private companies in most industries.
Make wealth, not war.

A.I. vs. You. Computing vs. Polluting. Value vs. Victims.
Tech is the best tool to deliver the Health and Wealth you want, but governing tech is hard. Robert will ensure tech serves you without surveilling, deceiving, or silencing Americans. He’ll shield Virginians from datacenters they don’t want, while encouraging private development of capacity where Virginians do. He’ll press for sensible plans for power, cooling, and protecting both the planet and its people.
All help, no harm.

Speech. Religion. Association. Equal Opportunity. Privacy.
After joint petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to preserve his and his family’s rights, you can trust that he’ll Respect yours. The “Family Man” will fix Family Law. He has common sense solutions that can save $25 Billion/year, shield adults from state-court corruption, and keep kids far from needless legal trauma.
Love wins.
Robert’s Pledge ↗ (opens murrayforcongress.com at this heading)
“I pledge allegiance to our Constitutional Republic and to serving its citizens, especially
our Virginia District’s. All of them.
I pledge to govern by The Golden Rule (“Do to others what you
would have them do to you”). Opportunities exist to legislate for everyone’s benefit while
harming no one.
I pledge to donate 100% of my post-tax Congressional income to Virginia-based charities that
heal division within our District and/or help its most needy: the homeless, children awaiting
foster or forever homes, disabled veterans and public safety workers, and/or abused,
abandoned, or injured animals. I’ll do so until your individual taxes no longer pay for my
salary and I’ll show the receipts.”

By the state each donor wrote on the filing, across 1 states and territories. Donors who have given $200 or less this cycle are not itemized, so they cannot be placed on a map. The FEC’s grouping also counts joint-fundraising memo lines, so these rows can add up to more than the itemized total.

Itemized gifts over $200, grouped by the words donors filed: not an industry classification, and a gift from an employee is not a gift from the employer. The FEC’s grouping also counts joint-fundraising memo lines, so these rows can add up to more than the itemized total. Gifts of $200 or less ($785) are not itemized, so no employer or occupation is filed for them.
