Get big money out of politics. Overturn Citizens United, end gerrymandering and voter suppression, and build a democracy truly of, by, and for the people.

Our government should work for the people, not for corporate PACs and wealthy donors. We will fight to get big money out of politics by overturning Citizens United and passing comprehensive campaign finance reform. We will work to end gerrymandering and voter suppression, and we will fight for a more transparent and accountable government at all levels. We will build a democracy that is truly of, by, and for the people.
In the U.S. Senate, Michael will be a vote that no donor can buy, because no donor paid for it.

A Green New Deal for North Carolina is not just an environmental issue; it's an economic and social justice imperative. We will invest in renewable energy, creating thousands of good-paying union jobs and ensuring that the communities most affected by climate change and pollution are the first to benefit from the new green economy. We will protect our state's natural resources, from the mountains to the coast, and hold corporate polluters accountable for the damage they've caused.

Diplomacy over endless war. Reduce the bloated military budget and reinvest at home: in our schools, our hospitals, and our communities.
source ↗ (opens the page at this passage) · dublinforcongress.com
A foreign policy of endless war has drained our resources, destabilized the world, and made us less safe. We will advocate for a foreign policy based on diplomacy, international cooperation, and respect for human rights. We will work to reduce our bloated military budget and reinvest that money here at home, in our communities. We will oppose all forms of imperialism and interventionism, and we will work to build a more just and peaceful world.
