The Democratic Party needs leadership with a spine. I am a Blue Dog Democrat, and I will take the leadership skills the Marine Corps taught me to fight for every working family.
Utah is built on community and stepping in when your neighbor needs it. That means working on the 90% we agree on instead of fighting over the 10% we don't.
It means affordable childcare for single parents and families, defending dignity for working families and seniors so nobody lives in poverty or goes without healthcare they can afford, supporting our farmers and ranchers, and fighting to keep our public lands in public hands. Utah deserves someone who will listen, someone who has not just heard about your struggles, but who has lived them.
Utah families are getting squeezed from every direction while corporations and billionaires get tax breaks. Home prices have doubled since 2013. A family in South Jordan needs $180,000 in income just to buy a median home. That is not a housing market. That is a system rigged against you.
