Politicians should not profit from the very laws they pass. I have NEVER traded stocks while serving in Congress, and I believe elected officials should be held to the same standards as the people they represent. That’s why I supported legislation to ban members of Congress from trading stocks and end the culture of self-dealing in Washington.

Free and fair elections start with one simple principle: American elections should be decided by American citizens.
For too long, Washington Democrats have fought against commonsense election safeguards. I’m fighting to restore trust in our elections by supporting the SAVE America Act and ensuring proper voter verification measures are in place.
Protecting the ballot box isn’t partisan — it’s common sense. The American people deserve confidence that their voices will be heard and their votes will be protected. I will continue fighting for election integrity and standing up against efforts to undermine our democratic process.

Joe Biden’s economy crushed working families. Out-of control inflation, higher taxes, and reckless spending put the American Dream out of reach for millions of Americans. Under President Trump’s leadership, Mike helped pass historic tax relief and provided more opportunities for small businesses to grow than ever before. Mike understands that burdensome federal and state regulations and mandates stifle economic growth and job creation. Mike will stand against federal mandates that hurt small businesses and families.

Mike has lived in Brevard County since 1989 and raised his family along the Lagoon and that is why it’s so important for us to work together to care for our environment. Our quality of life, economy, tourism, property values, and the survival of many indigenous species of plant and wildlife will depend on our efforts. Advancing common sense ideas that protect our Lagoon and preserve our natural beauty is important to Mike. Since elected in 2024, Mike has delivered over $14 MILLION in funding through appropriations requests for Indian River Lagoon Projects.
Mike is a co-chair of the bi-partisan Congressional Estuary Caucus created by former Congressman Bill Posey to help solve the growing problem in our 28 estuaries across the nation.

Space exploration generates high-paying jobs here in District 8. Space is key to American technological innovation as well as our national security. Space is the ultimate military high ground. Free nations worldwide are looking to the U.S. to lead the world in space, and if we fail to do so, others – namely China and Russia – will fill that void, and threaten our economic and national security interests.
Mike is a member of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee and serves as Chairman of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee. He has helped secure billions in funding for NASA and other projects that directly impact the space industry in
Florida.

Additionally, Mike has always been a staunch defender of our Second Amendment rights, carrying an A rating from the NRA from his service in the Florida Legislature. Mike will always protect our right to bear arms in Congress.

Mike believes in term limits. Florida is proof that term limits work. Florida is the epicenter of conservative reforms where citizens serve and then return to the private sector. Mike signed the U.S. Term Limits pledge and will vote for all term limits measures in office.

Mike is a strong supporter of President Trump’s immigration measures to secure the southern border and remove dangerous illegal aliens. The Biden Border Crisis allowed record numbers of illegal immigrants and deadly drugs to pour across the southern border. Under Biden, over 7 million illegals entered our nation illegally.
Mike led the fight to defeat a measure in the Florida legislature to allow illegals to obtain a driver’s license. Mike fully stands by President Trump’s immigration agenda and America is once again a nation of laws and secure borders.

Mike will always support measures that provide patient centered care and competition in the marketplace. Mike stands firm against any single-payer healthcare system.
